Hello again, in this post I will
tell you about one of my best vacations, although it cost
me a lot to choose
because I always had a good time, this time I chose a trip in the summer
of
2018 to the Valle del Elqui.
A long time ago I wanted to know the
Valle del Elqui but I didn't have the opportunity, since
I always traveled to
the south of the country. This time I went with my boyfriend and my
dog for
almost two weeks to get to know this place, which really made me fall in love.
We got a cabin in Pisco del Elqui,
where it crossed the river and it was very nice. While
there we visited all the
pisco and wine vineyards, we tasted and it was very great. We also
met the
house and museum of Gabriela Mistral, an educator whom I admire very much.
We
visit many gastronomic places typical of the area. We also did an astronomical
tour to Mamalluca, which is one of the largest observatories in the country, it
was wonderful.
At night we would go for a walk and observe the starry sky, this
caused me a lot of tranquility.
I think it was a beautiful holiday,
first because the place is very nice, it has a perfect mix
between green areas
and places that begin to mix with the desert of the north of the country,
being
one of the most beautiful things, the Elqui River, where I had the opportunity
to bathe
(very cold). I have to admit, that since that time I have returned 3
times more and not only
because of how beautiful it is, it is simply because
when I am there I feel at peace and
quiet, it is a magical place.
